Will ERI Heal Hawks

I mean, he is still a very important part of the story so he can't be taken out in the battlefield. That and we barely seen what he's cable of when he goes all out. I'll be honest, I'm not super keen on this theory. I mentioned in my previous post, I actually prefer this development for Hawks as an alternative to most of the other options that seemed to be on the table. I have to disagree about Horikoshi needing to keep him "in the battlefield" in order for him to keep playing an important role in the story. Hawks's skills as a fighting hero have always been secondary to his intelligence-gathering skills, his people skills, and his ability to calmly and quickly assess a situation. 's always the teaching thing as I previously mentioned. I would really love to see that, ngl. 't be affected by Hawks losing his quirk is his connection to the ongoing Todoroki storyline. 's in it deeper than ever now that Touya has seemingly revealed his identity to him and him alone (and did he get it on tape?? seems likely), and now that we've also learned he potentially had some sort of connection to the Todorokis long before he grew up and became a hero. I don't think the loss of his wings will reduce his importance to the story at all. 's an honorary Todoroki now, with all the drama that comes with it. 's one last thing, which is that Eri is just a little girl who's been through a lot of trauma and imo deserves to be treated as more than just a magical plot device.

39;t just be used as a human reset button.

SMAKOWE-mango-01 't get me wrong, the story has gradually shown her improving her control over her quirk little by little in what feels like a very deliberate way, and Horikoshi has clearly placed her in UA 's not like Eri doesn't want to help; obviously she does, and being able to use her quirk to help someone would in a way be healing for her as well as them. "Eri heals so and so" theories out there kind of make me understand why some people had reservations about a quirk like hers being introduced into the story. 't just be used as a human reset button. I'm thinking that at most we'll get to see Eri heal one person for the time being, and that's it. Mirio, Hawks, and/or whoever else ends up being badly injured and/or losing a quirk in this arc; those are our options. 's going to be a very difficult (and likely controversial) choice, whoever it winds up being. I don't think Hawks would be at the top of that list. I don't think he'd place his own well-being above another person's, let alone a kid's, and we already know he believes that the up-and-coming generation is the world's best hope for survival right now anyway.
