Why Does Chibi Chibi Look Like Usagi

Why You Need to Read Beastars (Manga) - Books and BaoChibi Chibi is a mysterious little girl who appears in the last arc of the manga. She is the civilian identity of Sailor Chibi Chibi, and the disguised form of Sailor Cosmos. Chibi (ちび) means small in Japanese. Chibi Chibi is a play on Chibiusa's nickname to denote an even smaller Usagi. Chibi Chibi is a small girl. She has pink hair that is tied into two heart-shaped odango and blue eyes. She wears a white, long-sleeved shirt with a dark pink bow and a light pink heart brooch at its center, a blue skirt with a blue back bow, white socks, white shoes with pink hearts and accents, and pink heart earrings. In the manga, she is seen in an alternate version of this outfit in which the front bow and skirt are covered in a star pattern. Sailor Chibi Chibi's uniform consists of a white leotard with a pink chest bow and a pink heart brooch affixed to it. Her sailor collar is light blue with no stripes.

She wore gold-outlined pink heart-shaped odango covers, with her tiara was gold with a pink heart, and her earrings were pink heart studs. Her choker was pink with a pink heart motif. She wore puffy sleeves with double rows of pink and yellow trims. Her gloves were white and the elbow pads were pink and yellow. Her skirt was light blue with a double trim of pink and yellow and had a pink back bow. She wore white knee-high boots with hot pink bordering and pink heart accents at the base. She usually, but not always, has angel wings at her back, similar to Eternal Sailor Moon. She is a kindhearted and mischievous girl who is quite secretive. Chibi Chibi is a mysterious girl who tries to appear as unassuming as possible regularly feigning ignorance and powerlessness to maintain her disguise and minimize her own influence; however, she will step in when she feels it is necessary. She is not particularly creative or skilled in maintaining her disguise choosing to remain silent and allow her physical appearance speak for itself when she regularly comes under scrutiny.

Beware The Manga Scam

She'll allow speculation to run rampant and wildly off the mark as she refuses to speak about herself until the very end of the manga. She cares deeply for her "sister" Usagi Tsukino and watches over her during her time in the present. She has no hope for the future she results from and is determined to rewrite history to prevent the rise of Sailor Chaos. Chibi Chibi is willing to sacrifice her dreams, anyone, and anything do to so no matter how much it hurts her; however, at the pivotal moment her "sister" shows her another way and restores her faith. Though initially appearing in the form of a small girl, Chibi Chibi is actually Sailor Cosmos from the far future. She used the disguise of a small girl to keep her identity secret in order to carry out a mission to influence her past self, Usagi Tsukino. To get close to her, she chose the disguise of innocence.

A small girl whose appearance could pass as Usagi's future daughter. Sailor Cosmos, having lived that time once before, knew Chibiusa had gone home and Mamoru was absent, thus leaving Usagi alone and vulnerable and more accepting of a strange small girl from the future. Chibi Chibi first appears from the future in the sky above the Juban park where she descends with an umbrella. She immediately senses and discovers Princess Kakyuu in distress once she lands. Then she heads for Usagi's Home with Kakyuu hidden inside an incense burner. There she finds Ikuko confused by a mug with "chibiusa" written on it as she is unable to figure out why "chibi" was written on it. Usagi arrives that evening to have Ikuko scolds her for forgetting her "sister" Chibi Chibi prompting an emergency meeting with her Sailor Guardians to discuss the child. Usagi and the girls try to figure out who she is and where she came from speculating she is a future daughter of Usagi or Chibiusa, but their efforts fall flat as Chibi Chibi would only repeat words said by others much to Minako's frustration. They leave Chibi Chibi at Usagi's Home where she remained for around a month spending her days inconspicuous with Ikuko, the cats, her incense burner, and comforting Usagi whenever she was home.

Before they could leave the park, Sailor Galaxia was attacked.

This changes after the incident with Sailor Led Crow. Usagi was brought home having fainted and the Sailor Starlights came to visit her. As they left, they saw and recognized Chibi Chibi's incense burner. They returned later to take it and were met with an embarrassed Chibi Chibi and her refusal to hand it over. Before the situation could escalate, Princess Kakyuu emerged from the incense burner and told the Starlights about how Chibi Chibi had rescued her and raised her morale during her recovery with stories of Sailor Moon and the Three Lights themselves. This baffled them leading them to question Chibi Chibi's identity. Kakyuu also shared that she felt Chibi Chibi's power and asked if she was a Sailor Guardian. In response, Chibi Chibi transformed into Sailor Chibi Chibi and joined the Starlights in backing up Sailor Moon against Sailor Tin Nyanko. This is where Usagi sees Sailor Chibi Chibi for the first time. After Usagi had a long discussion with Kakyuu at the Three Lights' residence, which Chibi Chibi did not partake in, Chibi Chibi joined Usagi on her walk home. During it, she delayed Usagi by jumping on the swings in the Juban park forcing Usagi to wait for her. While waiting, Usagi noted how Chibi Chibi appeared to know exactly what she was thinking without either saying a word and was met by further evasiveness when she asked Chibi Chibi about herself. Before they could leave the park, Sailor Galaxia was attacked. Chibi Chibi watched as Usagi attempted to fend off Galaxia but without her friends her confidence shattered and her Holy Moon Chalice vanished.

With Usagi fainted and Galaxia about to destroy Earth, Chibi Chibi was forced to act. She summoned Usagi's Holy Moon Chalice and simultaneously healed all the damage Galaxia had caused, put Galaxia to sleep, and teleported Galaxia to her bed at Galactica Palace. The only witnesses were Galaxia and the three cats Luna, Artemis, and Diana. Galaxia was surprised to find herself dreaming in bed but quickly shrugged it off, and the cats were unable to speak due to their injuries from Sailor Tin Nyanko. Chibi Chibi allowed the Three Lights believe the unconscious and untransformed Usagi had fended off Galaxia and healed the city and stayed by her side as she recovered at their home. When Usagi awoke, she recognized Chibi Chibi had saved her and described her as an angel even if she won't share much about herself. After a discussion, Usagi, Kakyuu, and the Starlights decided to take the fight to Shadow Galactica at the center of the galaxy. Chibi Chibi would join them and even started to speak a bit more like a normal person for which Yaten called her a "micro-chibi" to Chibi Chibi's displeasure.

At Sagittarius Zero Star, Sailor Moon would face many trials on her path to Galaxia and Sailor Chibi Chibi would try to minimize her own involvement but the distortions she caused to space time were great forcing her to involve herself in most of them. At the Desert River of Oblivion, Chibi Chibi shields Sailor Moon and Princess Kakyuu from Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi as the Sailor Starlights, Sailor Lethe, and Sailor Mnemosyne are killed. When Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon is about to incinerate Sailor Moon, Princess Kakyuu, and herself, Chibi Chibi detects, telepathically speaks to, and teleports Sailor Chibi Moon and her Sailor Quartet from Earth to the core of Sagittarius Zero Star to save them. The newcomer's discovery of the cute child leads to yet another conversation speculating Chibi Chibi's origins. The Quartet concludes she can't possibly be Usagi's child so she must be Chibiusa's. Meanwhile Chibiusa is shocked and embarrassed by the child until she concludes she can't be Chibi Chibi's sister or mother and the child is instead something else with limited power like Eternal Sailor Moon. When Chibiusa questions Chibi Chibi she hides behind Usagi's leg and is saved from further questioning by the start of the next battle. She does not involve herself in the fight against Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi in which Sailor Kakyuu dies. When the Solar System Sailor Guardians appear wearing Galactica Bracelets, Chibi Chibi initially tries to get Sailor Moon to see they are not her friends but her enemies and fails.

Instead, she shows Chibiusa a vision of what happened to all of them and lets her convince Usagi she needs to fight. Chibi Chibi shields Chibiusa and Usagi from the Galactica Glaive Surprise attack to the surprise of all and soon after takes a hit from the Galactica Cannon removing her from the middle of the fight. At the climax of the battle, Chibi Chibi stops Chibiusa from intervening telling her, for the sake of the future, it's Usagi's fight and to believe in her. This continues during Sailor Moon's fight with Sailor Galaxia where Chibi Chibi continuously shields Chibiusa while both remain uninvolved which prompts Chibiusa to conclude Chibi Chibi must have seen the fight before and if Chibi Chibi is her sister or child they must have a future to which Chibi Chibi's only reply was a look with tearful eyes. When Galaxia pushes Mamoru into the Galaxy Cauldron, Usagi and Chibiusa look on with shock and horror but Chibi Chibi already has her eyes squeezed shut which quickly changes to mirror their previous expressions when Chibiusa starts to disappear. Using the confusion of Chaos' awakening, Sailor Galaxia attacks Sailor Moon with Galactica Super String which Chibi Chibi blocks. Shocked and thinking it is impossible to stop, Galaxia questions what Chibi Chibi actually is like many others before her. With Chaos awakened, Chibi Chibi has reached the moment she was waiting for and begins to speak more than she ever had before but still without sharing details about herself. She tells Sailor Moon she must destroy both Chaos and the Galaxy Cauldron if she wishes to stop conflict - to save the future.

3 Sorts of Manga: Which One Will Make the most Cash?

She tells Sailor Moon she will regret watching over an eternity of war and pain and with tears in her eyes tells Usagi its the only way to bring peace to the galaxy and to destroy Chaos for good. With Galaxia's input, Sailor Moon rejects Chibi Chibi's proposal which would be the end of all things and tells Chibi Chibi to not lose hope or to give up on her future. Crying, Chibi Chibi agrees and kisses Usagi on the cheek while revealing her true form, Sailor Cosmos, telling Usagi they will not lose as Usagi's showdown with Chaos commences. See Sailor Cosmos for more information. While Chibi Chibi tries to remain a spectator, she displays power far beyond any of the Sailor Guardians of the present when she does involve herself. Chibi Chibi in the anime and manga were not real identities and though her true identity is different in the 90's anime she still shares her voice actress with Usagi in the Japanese and the English languages. Only Sailor Moon and the Sailor Quartet see Chibi Chibi's true form: Sailor Cosmos. Chaos may have but never acknowledged her before or after her reveal.
