Turn as many humans into weapons for its war. Look for clues to Denji's identity (all ongoing). The War Devil, also known as Yoru, is the central antagonist of Chainsaw Man: Part 2 and the War Devil arc. Appearing before high schooler Asa Mitaka after she is killed by the Justice Devil, the War Devil forms a contract with her and becomes the War Fiend.

39;s and her hair is also set loose with her no longer having twin tails.

She vows to destroy her old enemy/rival, Chainsaw Man by attending the same school as him through the body of Asa. The War Devil's true form is only shown briefly, but it appears to have a bird-like body, similar to a dark-colored owl or potoo. As Asa Mitaka, the War Devil is a young teenage girl who is about 15 to 16 years old with long, black hair that is styled in twin tails behind the back of her head. She's frequently seen dressed in a regular Japanese school uniform with a skirt and a lace for a tie. She also seems to wear sneakers instead of regular schoolgirl shoes. Whenever it possesses Asa's body, the three scars on her face appear with one being located on her nose, one on her left cheek and the other being located under her left eye, crossing with the other two scars. Her eyes have multiple rings or circles in a similar fashion to Makima's and her hair is also set loose with her no longer having twin tails. War Devil threatening Asa. The War Devil appears to be confident and prideful, treating its opponents as a warm-up and confidently vowing to take vengeance against its old enemy. And like any other of its kind, it takes extreme delight in killing humans as she views them beneath her. Treating them as tools and a means to end its eventual goal in its war with Chainsaw Man.

When Manga Develop Too Shortly, That is What Happens

Unlike other Fiends, it shows itself to be cunning and intelligent as it left Asa's brain intact in order to ingrate itself into human society and was able to figure out that Chainsaw Man's host is a high schooler. As a human, Asa had a cynical and bleak outlook on life, which caused her to be quite unpopular in her school. She had a disdain for people in general and a strong hatred for Devils, due to both of her parents having been eaten by members of the species. Asa seems to have a special hatred for the Chainsaw Man, a hybrid Devil Hunter known for his heroic deeds, calling him a "Devil playing Devil Hunter" as well as for the class pet Bucky, a headless chicken Devil. Despite all of that, it is implied that Asa's anti-social behavior was the product of her being jealous of her classmates, upon finding out about this, she was willing to change herself for the better, as well as give Bucky a chance. Despite her hatred for Devils and various talks of death wishing, she does not want to actually kill them, as she feels extremely sorry for having apparently killed Bucky.

Although she was generally anti-social, Asa seemed to have a good relationship with the Class Rep who was apparently her only true friend, as well as with her teacher, Mr. Asa after accidentally killing the class pet, Bucky. At some point in her life, Asa's parents were devoured by an unnamed Devil. Asa is first seen in her high school class alongside her classmates who are celebrating the arrival of the class pet Bucky, a Chicken Devil who the class was planning to kill and eat. Unlike her fellow students, Asa seems indifferent of Bucky and hopes for him to die soon due to his Devil nature. 3 months pass and the class ultimately decides not to kill Bucky, much to Asa's surprise. The decision is celebrated with a soccer game in which the girl refuses to participate. Bucky convinces her to join the game by calling her by name. Surprised, since no one in her class other than the Representative seemed to actually know her name, Asa realizes she was just being envious of her classmate's bonds and decides to join the game.

Unfortunately, the Class Rep trips her while she carries Bucky, causing her to fall and crush the Devil, killing him. Thinking she was responsible for the death of the class pet, Asa feels extremely guilty, causing her already lacking popularity to plummet even further. That night, the Class Rep and her teacher Mr. Tanaka knock on her door and ask her to go visit Bucky's grave. While on their way to school, the Class Rep reveals that she was the one who tripped Asa as well as reveals herself as the Justice Devil, claiming she made a contract with him in order to get a happy ending with Mr. Tanaka, who she was having an affair with. Asa tries to escape but is quickly attacked by the Justice Devil, who slices her face in half, killing her. In her final moments, Asa reflects on her life and thinks about how she could have done better in terms of making friends, instead of brooding over Devils and the happiness of her classmates. War Devil swearing to kill Denji. Unexpectedly, the War Devil, who has the form of an owl, shows up at the scene and asks a dying Asa if she wants to live and forms a contract with her in exchange for her body. After assimilating her body, it causes her to be revived as the War Fiend. The War Devil, now a fiend, awakens and rips Mr. Tanaka's head and spine off using her newfound powers, turning it into a sword. She then attacks the Justice Devil with it, severing one of its arms.

She then turns the arm into a grenade and throws the head of Mr. Tanaka into the Devil's face, making them both kiss before blowing both of them up with a grenade. After killing both individuals, the War Devil starts her quest to find and kill the Chainsaw Man. A day later, Asa awakens in her bed realizing that she had died but War Devils shows herself and explains that she had kept her alive with half her brain. War Devil turning Mr. Tanaka's head and spine into a sword. Weapon transformation: As long its victims hold some affection towards its host, the War Devil has the ability to transform body parts of humans and Devils into weapons. This is demonstrated when she turns Mr. Contract creation: As a Devil, the War Devil is able to make "contracts" with humans in which she can offer her power to them in exchange for something of the human individual. The prices can usually range from being body parts of the contractor for them to eat or even some of the human's lifespan. Regeneration: As a Fiend, War Devil is able to regenerate or heal Asa's body by drinking blood. Because of this, she can sustain all kinds of lethal injuries, such as beheading. Immortality: As a Devil and later a Fiend, the War Devil cannot die of old age and will live on forever if given the chance. Reincarnation: If the War Devil is killed on Earth, the War Devil will reincarnate in Hell, making her essentially immortal. The War Devil can return to Earth, if she is killed in Hell, which causes them to reincarnate to the human world, now with a completely different appearance, without any of her prior memories and also no longer attached to Asa's corpse.

Are You Embarrassed By Your Manga Skills? Here’s What To Do

Moon Breathing (月 (つき) (こ) (きゅう), Tsuki no kokyū?) is a Breathing Style derived from the Sun Breathing used by Upper Rank One, Kokushibō, who was one of the first Demon Slayers who utilized breathing techniques. The techique allows the user to create many "chaotic blades" when slashing that varies in length and size. It is known that Kokushibō continued to develop and add techniques to the Breathing Style over the centuries as an immortal Demon. At this point in the story, it is the only known Breathing Style to possess at least 20 different techniques, easily surpassing the other Breathing Styles. It has been revealed that, like all of the other original breathing styles, the Moon Breathing also branched out of the Sun Breathing. When its creator, Michikatsu Tsugikuni, attempted to learn the Sun Breathing from his twin brother, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, he discovered he was unable to master the breathing style and so was instead trained in an alternate Breathing Style. Yoriichi created it fit and cover his individual strengths and weaknesses, and Michikatsu then continued to train and develop this breathing until it eventually evolved into its own unique Breathing Style, which he named the Moon Breathing.

First Form: Dark Moon, Evening Palace (壹 (いち) (かた) (やみ) (づき) (よい) (みや), Ichi no kata: Yamidzuki - Yoi no Miya?) - Kokushibō draws his sword and slashes swiftly in a single motion; like with all Moon Breathing techniques, numerous chaotic blades originate from the slash. This technique resembles Iaijutsu. Second Form: Pearl Flower Moongazing (貳 (に) (かた) (しゅ) (か) (ろう) (げつ), Ni no kata: Shuka no Rōgetsu?) - Kokushibō performs several slashes while sending a barrage of chaotic blades forward. Third Form: Loathsome Moon, Chains (參 (さん) (かた) (えん) (き) (づき) (つが), San no kata: Enkizuki - Tsugari?) - Kokushibō swings his sword rapidly in two gigantic crescents slashes, from which a storm of smaller crescents spread.

Fourth Form: Solar Rings, Frostmoon (肆 (し) (かた) (たい) (よう) (りん) (しも) (づき), Shi no kata: Taiyōrin - Shimodzuki?) - Kokushibō performs a circular small cyclone slashes of chaotic blades straight towards his opponent. Fourth Form: Improved, Red Sun over Paradise (肆 (し) (かた) (かい) (あっき) (よう) (らく) (えん), Shi no kata kai: Akk' yō Rakuen?) - Kokushibō spins his blade slicing through the ground and ripping it out. Causing multiple 180 slashes across the area to be sented towards his opponents as chaotic blades appear when near the enemy slicing into their body. As the circular slashes spin grinding into the enemys skin.

Fifth Form: Moon Spirit Calamitous Eddy (伍 (ご) (かた) (げっ) (ぱく) (さい) (か), Go no kata: Geppaku Saika?) - Kokushibō makes multiple curved slashes layered over one another, resembling a rising vortex. Numerous chaotic blades originate from these slashes. Kokushibō performed this attack without swinging his blade. Sixth Form: Perpetual Night, Lonely Moon - Incessant (陸 (ろく) (かた) (とこ) (よ) (こ) (げつ) (む) (けん), Roku no kata: Tokoyo Kogetsu - Muken?) - Kokushib releases a wild storm of slashes in multiple directions. This technique was powerful enough to not only slice up multiple Hashira around him but also overwhelm the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa.
