Steins;Gate is a thriller/sci-fi anime that heavily tackles the subject of future and alternate realities. We're not going to beat around the bush, this show is an absolute banger. If you watched at least two anime shows in your life, then chances are you've heard of this anime. And if you've watched it then you loved it, there is no other possibility. That put aside, in every single anime there's at least one character that the fans just don't like. And Steins;Gate, like its counterparts, has its own share of not-so-loved characters. Note that not every character included in this list is 100% despised by the public. Only some of their actions might be hated. Rintarou Okabe, or Hououin Kyouma as he prefers to be called, is the main protagonist of the series and a self-proclaimed mad scientist. Now don't get me wrong, we all love Okabe. But we have to admit that many of his decisions during the first half of the series weren't exactly the best.
39; main source of pain for most of season one.
But then again it's understandable. Many of us would do much worse if put in similar situations. Kagari Shiina is the adoptive daughter of Mayuri Shiina. Her childhood was beyond miserable. She lost her biological parents during world war III and was taken as an experimental test subject by Alexis Leskinin. And when she traveled all the to the past, she once again fell to Leskinin's schemes and was captured. Kagari was hypnotized throughout the entire period she served as an antagonist, so putting all the blame on her would be unjust. Not exactly a character, but an entire organization. The rounders were our protagonists' main source of pain for most of season one. They are specially trained troops who work under SERN. Their specialty ranges from abduction all the way to assassinations, nothing is too extreme if it was ordered by SERN. Most of the rounders were 'rounded' up by FB through unconventional means. They were previously either social outcasts or mentally unstable individuals. If there was one thing that stands out about Steins;Gate then it's the excess amount of plot twists. There are plot twists at every turn and at every episode, and it never gets boring. Judy Reyes was the colleague of Alexis Leskinin and a research professor at Viktor chondria university. When she first debuted, she was fairly friendly with Okabe and the gang, till you guessed it, she turned out to be a bad guy or a bad girl in her case. Yes, I am dead serious, this little demon deserves a solid spot in this list.
If you didn't know who "Nae-chan" was, then let me introduce you. Nae Tennouji is the daughter of Yugo Tennouji, the big boss of the rounders. The thing about Steins;Gate is that you can't trust anyone, not even a little kid. In a certain alternate reality where her father commits suicide, she takes revenge on Okabe and Moeka. Seriously wounding Okabe and killing Moeka. A certain aspect of Steins;Gate that never ceases to amaze us is how every antagonist in the show starts off as an ally, this also applies to Moeka Kiryu. Moeka Kiryu, when introduced, was just a quirky anti-social woman who couldn't communicate without her cellphone. But later on she comes out as a member of the rounders. Yugo Tennouji debuted as Okabe's landlord/neighbor and stayed that way for a long time, till of course, plot twist struck. None of us saw it coming, it just came.
39;s father and murderer in one of the alternate realities.
If there was a top 10 Steins;Gate plot twists list, and there should be, Yugo's identity would easily be in the top 3. Yugo Tennouji served as the main antagonist of the first season of the anime. He manipulated every event from the shadows. Alexis Leskinin is a professor and researcher at Viktor chondria university's brain institute. If Rintarou Okabe was a self-proclaimed mad scientist, then Alexis Leskinin is a genuine one. He went as far as experimenting on orphaned children to achieve his motives. Alexis served as one of the main antagonists of Steins;Gate 0. And yes you guessed it once again, he started off as a friend. Now if there was one character in Steins;Gate that deserves nothing other than hate, then it would be this man. Shouichi Makise, or publicly known as Dr. Nakabachi, is a professor researching time travel and its many concepts. He was later on revealed to be Kurisu's father and murderer in one of the alternate realities. His reason for killing his daughter was jealousy, talk about terrible fathers. SERN, or the European society for nuclear research, is an organization that serves as the main antagonist faction in Steins;Gate. Unlike the real-life version of SERN who explores world development, SERN in the series only desires one thing, which is world domination. These mad lads would do anything for the sake of world domination. Killing, stealing, and abducting are all fair game.
This list describes characters from the anime and manga series Doraemon. Also listed are their original NTV voice actors (1973), followed by their TV Asahi voice actors (1979-2005; 2005-present). Part of the 22nd century characters are listed in The Doraemons. Each main character represents a primary school student archetype. Nobita appears in every episode of the anime, while Doraemon appears in most episodes, sometimes being substituted (for medical checkup or on leave) by his sister, Dorami. Note: In some translations of Doraemon, the names of these characters are different from the original names. 2.9 Nobisuke Nobi Jr. Albert in the Cinar dub of the series, is the title character and co-protagonist of the series. He is a cat-like robot from the future. He was yellow-skinned and had ears originally. However, his ears were accidentally eaten by a robot mouse. It left him heartbroken and caused his skin to turn blue. People often mistake him for a raccoon dog. He is sent back in time by Sewashi (Nobita's Great-great-grandson) to aid Nobita. Doraemon possesses a 4-dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuristic tools, gadgets, and playthings from a future department store.
His favorite food is Dorayaki.
He also has the tendency to panic during emergencies, characterized by him frantically trying to pull out a very much-needed tool from his pocket, only to produce a huge assortment of household items and unwanted gadgets. Still, Doraemon is very friendly and intelligent, not to mention long-suffering because of Nobita's antics. Since Sewashi sent Doraemon to the past, Doraemon has been living as the unofficial fourth member of Nobita's family and acts like a second son to Nobita's parents, since despite being a robot, he requires basic needs for a person, such as eating, and also sleeps in the closet of Nobita's bedroom. He also fears mice greatly (due to a robot mouse having eaten his ears), even go crazy about it and pull out devastating gadgets, and most of the times, Nobita saves Doraemon in such situations. Although he has no fingers in most media, he can hold things because of the suction cups in his hands. His favorite food is Dorayaki. He has also been shown to date with normal female cat. He is the elder brother of Dorami.
Nobita Nobi (野比, Nobi Nobita, English dub: Sidney in the Cinar dub, Specky in the Speedy dub, and Noby Nobi in the Bang Zoom! dub) is the co-protagonist of the series. He wears glasses, a red or yellow polo shirt with a white collar, and blue or black shorts and white socks and light blue shoes. Although he's not good at sports, he's good at shooting. He is usually accompanied by Doraemon, who functions as his caretaker. Although he's not good at sports, he's good at shooting and has been reflected in the movies many time. He's also good at string figure which sometime considered a girls' game. Son of Tamako and Nobisuke Nobi. Future father of Nobisuke (his son). Future husband or boyfriend of Shizuka and great-great-grandfather of Sewashi. Taurus), nicknamed Shizuka-chan (しずかちゃん) is a smart, kind and pretty girl. She is often represented by the color pink, and is seen wearing a pink shirt and skirt.
The word 'Shizuka (しずか)' means 'Quiet'. She is Nobita's best friend. She does not shun Nobita due to his failing grades, lazy disposition or constant failures. In fact, she often tries to encourage him to do better, though she usually fails to convince him. Shizuka likes to take a bath several times a day; however, a running gag in the series is that she is sometimes interrupted by a sudden appearance of Nobita (sometimes Doraemon, Gian, or Suneo) usually due to misuse of Doraemon's gadgets like the Anywhere Door (Doko Demo Doa in Japanese). Shizuka's skirt is also frequently seen getting flipped, either by Nobita misusing Doraemon's gadgets, or by the wind. Scenes in which her underwear is seen, or she is seen bathing, have been removed from the dubbed versions, especially in India, Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom. Her true passions are sweet potatoes, which she would rather keep to herself out of the knowledge of others, and the violin, in which her playing is just as horrendous as Gian's singing. She is also known for taking piano lessons unwillingly due to her mother's wishes (as she loves violin more), which is sometimes a reason for declining to hang out with friends (but she plays piano better than violin). Shizuka is an animal lover and keeps two pets at home: a dog, who is saved from succumbing to illness by Nobita and Doraemon in one story; and a canary which runs away on multiple occasions and causing Shizuka and Nobita to run around the city chasing her down.
