Does Syaoran Like Yukito

YukiSyao is the slash ship between Yukito and Syaoran from the Cardcaptor Sakura fandom. Sakura and Syaoran first started as love rivals. Tomoyo is the first one to inform Sakura of this, funnily mentioning the fact that Syaoran is now her rival for the Clow Cards, as well as her rival on the battlefield of love. This caused Syaoran to further antagonize Sakura and use any means to be near Yukito. This started when Sakura, Syaoran, and their class are on a trip to the beach for a few days. There, one of their classmates makes up a story about the origins of beach volleyball, saying that in its origins, the winner got to win their love's heart. Hearing this, both Syaoran and Sakura believe the story, and start thinking about the great possibility of winning Yukito's love. They then start fiercely playing against each other. Syaoran's cute crush keeps being evident throughout the series, evident by how blushy and nervous he gets around Yukito. Like the time when Sakura and Tomoyo were invited to the high school culture festival by Touya and Yukito. Yukito takes the two of them to his class, and Sakura says that she feels like someone is watching her. Sakura looks to the side and sees Syaoran there, glaring at them hard. Yukito approaches him, Syaoran stops glaring, blushes and shakes his head. Later, Yukito wins a stuffed animal in a game against the basketball team and gives it to Sakura, which makes Syaoran really jealous. Yukito sees this and gives the guy 200 yen for another go and wins another doll for Syaoran.

39;s hand and leads her to the bonfire to dance.

When they are walking back, Yukito says that it is almost time for the school play. Syaoran blushes once again and asks him if he is in the play, stuttering. Yukito says that he is in the play, with a smile. Syaoran asks what role he is and Yukito says he is playing the role of a "Can With Mackerel". Later in the night, there is a bonfire, with people dancing around. Yukito grabs Sakura's hand and leads her to the bonfire to dance. Once again, Syaoran feels jealous and is saddened by the experience. Syaoran meets Yukito once again at the summer festival. Sakura, Tomoyo, Touya, and Yukito see Syaoran playing a shooting game and Tomoyo tells him how good he is. Syaoran is annoyed at first, but then sees Yukito and quickly offers up all of the sweets that he has won, making him embarrassed while blushing. When Touya sees Syaoran, they both race to see who can win a stuffed rabbit first: Touya for Sakura, or Syaoran for Yukito. When he finally wins, Syaoran runs to give Yukito the stuffed rabbit he won for him, and Yukito tells him that he will buy another one for Syaoran, as a thank-you gift. Syaoran's jealousy towards Sakura over Yukito continues for some time, until one night the both of them have a private hear-to-heart conversation, where they confess the shared feelings they have for Yukito. Sakura confesses she likes Yukito and how 'floaty' she feels when she's with him. Syaoran admits he feels the same way.

When it is revealed Yukito is actually an artificial form of Yue, Syaoran is surprised.

Sakura realizes they have the same feelings, and she admits she fell in love with Yukito at first sight, which Syaoran says is like how he felt when he met Yukito. Sakura says that Yukito is too old for both of them but they can't help but like him, causing Syaoran to get embarrassed and run away. When it is revealed Yukito is actually an artificial form of Yue, Syaoran is surprised. Further more, during the Sakura's Final Judgment, the topic of her feelings for Yukito come up. Keri surprises that her feelings are genuine but she is drawn to Yukito because of the magic within him. This causes Syaoran to realize that this may be the cause of his feelings for Yukito. Syaoran continued to have a crush on Yukito until the third season, when he notices his feelings for Sakura have grown stronger, to the point his heart races and he blushes like how he does with Yukito. Yukito, after having found the teddy bear Syaoran subconsciously made for Sakura, transforms into Yue and tells Syaoran that his attraction to Yukito stems from the moon magic within Yukito, as Syaoran draws his magic from the moon. Yue persuades Syaoran to reevaluate his feelings before transforming back into Yukito, who tells him to give the bear to the one he likes. Overtime, Syaoran's crush in Yukito fades as he becomes more romantically committed to Sakura.

And then ask them in sync, if he would like to eat one prepared by them.

He still respects Yukito as a friend and has high regard for him. In turn, Yukito considers Syaoran as an appropriate partner for Sakura. During episode 23, Sakura confides in Tomoyo that Yukito will spend the night at her house with her brother. Sayoran, who is intently eavesdropping on their conversation, jumps in to ask her who will be at her house, filled with jealousy. In episode 29, both Sakura and Syaoran, blushing, ask Yukito what his favorite cake is, at the same time. And then ask them in sync, if he would like to eat one prepared by them. Later, when Sakura gets to cook a cake for Yukito, he says he loves it, and that he would be happy eating a cake like it everyday. Syaoran watches this all from afar, sad and jealous that he did not get to make a cake for Yukito first. During episode 34, the entire town participates in a quiz rally where contestants run to various locations and solve puzzles. When Syaoran finds out that Sakura is going to team up with Yukito, he gets extremely jealous.

And then Yukito asks him about the little plushy bear Syaoran was carrying around.

But his expression softens up once Yukito approaches them, and asks him if he will participate. To which Syaoran shyly replies that he will. During the competition, while Meiling was talking to him, Syaoran got distracted and started staring at Yukito. While looking at him smiling, Syaoran started to blush hard. In episode 38, Yukito joins Touya and Sakura harvesting strawberries. Syaoran collects tons in a bowl that he hands to Yukito, with a huge blush on his face. During episode 51, Yukito invites Syaoran to have lunch with him, making him blush once again. During lunch, he keeps blushing each time Yukito talks to him. And then Yukito asks him about the little plushy bear Syaoran was carrying around. In episode 55, while reading Alice in Wonderland, Sakura is sucked into the book's fantasy. She meets two identical Syaorans that ask her to solve the puzzle and to figure out which one of the two is the real Syaoran. One of them tells Sakura that he likes someone, while the other one likes no one. Sakura then thinks of the confession that Syaoran made of his crush on Yukito to Sakura some time ago and answers correctly. However, since he was now starting to develop feelings for Sakura, Sakura fails on the second question (is the person that Syaoran likes taller than him or shorter than him), answering thinking about Yukito, when Syaoran meant Sakura.

39;s crush was rewritten to be Syaoran simply being afraid of Yukito.

This was exceptionally progressive for its time since it shows both Sakura and Syaoran having crushes on him, no one ever diminishes Syaoran for having a crush on a boy, Sakura never outs him or discriminates him for his love, and the both of them have a healthy and open conversation about their feelings for Yukito, without her being homophobic or invalidating, but actually bonding in a sweet way. However, this was all censored outside of Japan at the time, due to the extreme homophobia that did not allow to show any hints of anything but heterosexual love, let alone in shows that were considered for kids. Syaoran's crush was rewritten to be Syaoran simply being afraid of Yukito. Although they were not able to change the animation, and despite what the characters said, Syaoran's blushing when Yukito appeared made it obvious that he was not straight. Syaoran's crush on a teenage boy older than him is shown as just that, the normal crush most kids have on older celebrities or even siblings' friends. In no way are Syaoran or Sakura's feelings reciprocated by Yukito, who, in fact, later makes it clear to Sakura that he sees her as a little sister and that he is in love with her brother Touya. This makes it all wholesome and a positive portrayal for queer kids to see themselves and not feel like they are not represented anywhere.

This list describes characters from the anime and manga series Doraemon. Also listed are their original NTV voice actors (1973), followed by their TV Asahi voice actors (1979-2005; 2005-present). Part of the 22nd century characters are listed in The Doraemons. Each main character represents a primary school student archetype. Nobita appears in every episode of the anime, while Doraemon appears in most episodes, sometimes being substituted (for medical checkup or on leave) by his sister, Dorami. Note: In some translations of Doraemon, the names of these characters are different from the original names. 2.9 Nobisuke Nobi Jr. Albert in the Cinar dub of the series, is the title character and co-protagonist of the series. He is a cat-like robot from the future. He was yellow-skinned and had ears originally. However, his ears were accidentally eaten by a robot mouse. It left him heartbroken and caused his skin to turn blue. People often mistake him for a raccoon dog. He is sent back in time by Sewashi (Nobita's Great-great-grandson) to aid Nobita. Doraemon possesses a 4-dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuristic tools, gadgets, and playthings from a future department store.

He has also been shown to date with normal female cat.

He also has the tendency to panic during emergencies, characterized by him frantically trying to pull out a very much-needed tool from his pocket, only to produce a huge assortment of household items and unwanted gadgets. Still, Doraemon is very friendly and intelligent, not to mention long-suffering because of Nobita's antics. Since Sewashi sent Doraemon to the past, Doraemon has been living as the unofficial fourth member of Nobita's family and acts like a second son to Nobita's parents, since despite being a robot, he requires basic needs for a person, such as eating, and also sleeps in the closet of Nobita's bedroom. He also fears mice greatly (due to a robot mouse having eaten his ears), even go crazy about it and pull out devastating gadgets, and most of the times, Nobita saves Doraemon in such situations. Although he has no fingers in most media, he can hold things because of the suction cups in his hands. His favorite food is Dorayaki. He has also been shown to date with normal female cat. He is the elder brother of Dorami.

Nobita Nobi (野比, Nobi Nobita, English dub: Sidney in the Cinar dub, Specky in the Speedy dub, and Noby Nobi in the Bang Zoom! dub) is the co-protagonist of the series. He wears glasses, a red or yellow polo shirt with a white collar, and blue or black shorts and white socks and light blue shoes. Although he's not good at sports, he's good at shooting. He is usually accompanied by Doraemon, who functions as his caretaker. Although he's not good at sports, he's good at shooting and has been reflected in the movies many time. He's also good at string figure which sometime considered a girls' game. Son of Tamako and Nobisuke Nobi. Future father of Nobisuke (his son). Future husband or boyfriend of Shizuka and great-great-grandfather of Sewashi. Taurus), nicknamed Shizuka-chan (しずかちゃん) is a smart, kind and pretty girl. She is often represented by the color pink, and is seen wearing a pink shirt and skirt.

The word 'Shizuka (しずか)' means 'Quiet'. She is Nobita's best friend. She does not shun Nobita due to his failing grades, lazy disposition or constant failures. In fact, she often tries to encourage him to do better, though she usually fails to convince him. Shizuka likes to take a bath several times a day; however, a running gag in the series is that she is sometimes interrupted by a sudden appearance of Nobita (sometimes Doraemon, Gian, or Suneo) usually due to misuse of Doraemon's gadgets like the Anywhere Door (Doko Demo Doa in Japanese). Shizuka's skirt is also frequently seen getting flipped, either by Nobita misusing Doraemon's gadgets, or by the wind. Scenes in which her underwear is seen, or she is seen bathing, have been removed from the dubbed versions, especially in India, Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom. Her true passions are sweet potatoes, which she would rather keep to herself out of the knowledge of others, and the violin, in which her playing is just as horrendous as Gian's singing. She is also known for taking piano lessons unwillingly due to her mother's wishes (as she loves violin more), which is sometimes a reason for declining to hang out with friends (but she plays piano better than violin). Shizuka is an animal lover and keeps two pets at home: a dog, who is saved from succumbing to illness by Nobita and Doraemon in one story; and a canary which runs away on multiple occasions and causing Shizuka and Nobita to run around the city chasing her down.
