Madara Uchiha is, doubtless, one of the strongest characters in the entire Naruto series. Being the leader of the legendary Uchiha Clan, Madara Uchiha was an exceptionally talented shinobi, the likes of which could only be matched by Hashirama Senju during their era. Although Madara was already strong, his thirst for power saw him craft an elaborate plan that would ultimately lead to him becoming the 10 Tails Jinchūriki. With tremendous power at his disposal, few could've possibly stood against him in battle and even fewer could've defeated him. Here are 5 characters in Naruto who could defeat Madara Uchiha and 5 who can't. Updated on August 29th, 2020 by Josh Davison: The legacy of Madara Uchiha runs throughout the world of Naruto. He was once the most powerful member of the Uchiha Clan and second only to the First Hokage in terms of abilities. He famously clashed several times with Hashirama Senju, a conflict that ultimately helped shape the Hidden Leaf Village. He created the Akatsuki and set both it and Obito Uchiha on the path that would ultimately lead to Madara's resurrection and the fruition of his plan to dominate the ninja world. He is an unfathomably powerful warrior--but there are those who are more powerful. With the importance of Madara in Naruto in mind, let's dive back into the shinobi who could and couldn't defeat Madara Uchiha with two new entries to each column. This one is a pretty obvious choice, but it's worth restating. Hashirama Senju, aka the First Hokage, was the only one who could ever beat Madara Uchiha in life.
39;o, Madara has powers that Pain never quite reached.
In death and resurrection, Madara gained access to powers he could never gain in life. However, the First Hokage did famously beat Madara in a duel at the Final Valley and apparently killed Madara. This, of course, was proven to be a fake death, and he went on to unlock the power of the Rinnegan. That said, Hashirama Senju proved unable to stand against the revived Madara Uchiha during the Fourth Great Shinobi War. Madara proved Hashirama's better in single combat and went on to attain, however briefly, increasing greater powers between the Mangekyo, Rinnegan, and Ten-Tailed Beast. The First Hokage is one of the most powerful shinobi to have ever lived, but Madara kept improving himself in life and after his resurrection. Madara became like a god, and Hashirama was left in the dust. Despite the power of the Rinnegan as well as the access to five different bodies, Nagato, aka Pain, would be no match for Madara Uchiha. Between Madara's own Rinnegan, his Mangekyo Sharingan, and the Susano'o, Madara has powers that Pain never quite reached. It would be a war of planetary devastations and battles between summoned beasts, but Madara would ultimately win the day with his varied ninjutsu, cunning, and ruthlessness. Kaguya tsutsuki came from seemingly nowhere to be the true final boss of Naruto: Shippuden and usurped Madara's shot at dominance. Kaguya is a godlike celestial being with limitless power, chakra, and abilities.
Tobirama was an incredibly powerful shinobi of his time.
She has access to the Byakugan, Rinnegan, and Sharingan. She can warp both herself and her opponents to wherever she wishes in an instant. Kaguya was the first to wield chakra and became the Ten-Tailed Beast. She and her clan attained immeasurable power, and her legacy went on to the creation of the ninja world. Madara wouldn't stand much of a chance. One of the strongest shinobi to have ever existed, Naruto Uzumaki is one of the few characters in the entire series who could possibly defeat Madara Uchiha. During the 4th Great Ninja War, the two clashed for a long time and Naruto was, more or less, able to keep up with him without any significant problems. Over the years, Naruto Uzumaki has grown several times stronger, and the power he has now ensures that he surpasses Madara Uchiha in terms of strength. There's no doubt that Madara is an exceptionally powerful character, but Naruto outdoes him in nearly every way. Tobirama Senju was the second Hokage of Konohagakure, taking up the role of the leader following the death of Hashirama Senju. Tobirama was an incredibly powerful shinobi of his time. In fact, he was able to slay Izuna Uchiha in combat pretty easily, showing how powerful he really was. Even though Tobirama Senju was strong, there was a considerable difference between his and his brothers' powers. Consequently, there was a drastic difference between his and Madara Uchiha's powers as well. Although strong, Tobirama was certainly not powerful enough to defeat Madara Uchiha. Sasuke Uchiha is the strongest known Uchiha to ever exist in Naruto, which makes him stronger than Madara.
Sasuke fought Madara Uchiha during the Fourth Great Ninja War and asserted his dominance then. Over the years, Sasuke certainly grew quite a lot and was able to grow to a level where he was equal to Naruto Uzumaki in terms of combat. Sasuke Uchiha had fought and matched the likes of Momoshiki Otsutsuki in a fight, further solidifying his position on the list. While some fans believe Madara to be the strongest known Uchiha, that's nothing but a misconception and Sasuke is certainly stronger than him. Sasuke's brother, Itachi Uchiha, was just as great a shinobi as Sasuke is today, albeit not nearly as powerful. While Itachi Uchiha was strong in his own right, he certainly wasn't even close to Madara Uchiha's level. With the Six Paths Powers at his disposal, there's absolutely no way for Madara to lose to Itachi, no matter what. Although some fans believe that Itachi is stronger than Madara Uchiha, there's hardly anything in the series that backs this claim up. Itachi may be powerful, but he definitely doesn't have even a fraction of Madara's godly powers. The undisputed strongest character in the entire Narutoverse, Jigen stands tall as an antagonist that even Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha couldn't defeat. Naruto and Sasuke were easily defeated by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and Jigen was much stronger than both of them combined, indicating that Jigen is even stronger than Momoshiki Otsutsuki. For now, some of Jigen's abilities remain unknown, and we're certain that he'll turn out to be even stronger than what we're imagining him to be.
A guy who once claimed to be closest to achieving the power of the Sage of Six Paths, Kabuto Yakushi acquired powers that Orochimaru failed to gain. He was strong enough to fight against Itachi Uchiha during the Great Ninja War, which just goes to show how powerful he really was! Although defeating Itachi Uchiha could've been possible for him, beating Madara Uchiha was certainly not something that he could've ever achieved in the series. When it comes to Madara Uchiha, the difference in power between the two is just way too massive. Nonetheless, Kabuto could've at least provided a decent fight to Madara. Momoshiki Otsutsuki is one of the strongest characters in the entire Naruto and Boruto series. Although he might not have been among the strongest initially, once he consumed Kinshiki, his powers grew dramatically. Momoshiki Otsutsuki is, indisputably, someone capable of matching Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in battle. He's someone comparable to Kaguya Otsutsuki herself, whose power was said to be several times greater than Madara's.
Therefore, Momoshiki Otsutsuki should easily be strong enough to defeat Madara Uchiha. However, it goes without saying that this fight certainly won't be easy for him. Might Guy is a master at hand-to-hand combat, and he's proved that countless times throughout the Naruto series. Not only has Guy fought against the likes of Kisame and absolutely decimated them in battle but he's also clashed against Madara Uchiha during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Using the Eight Inner Gates, Guy was able to overwhelm Madara in a fight, not giving him even an inch. In fact, he nearly killed Madara with his Night Guy technique. Unfortunately, the toll that the Eight Inner Gates take on Guy's body is way too much for him to use this technique for long, and thus, it fell short. Hagoromo Otsutsuki is quite easily one of the strongest characters to ever exist in Naruto. Being Kaguya Otsutsuki's son, Hagoromo had great powers that could only be matched by a few characters in the series. He had enough stamina to fight against his mother for months without resting, which shows how insane a monster he truly was! What's more, his powers further increased after beating Kaguya Otsutsuki, thanks for becoming the 10 Tails Jinchūriki after the events of the war. Hagoromo is someone who Madara Uchiha can't beat, no matter how stronger he gets. Also known as Konoha's Yellow Flash, Minato was a once-in-a-generation prodigy who went on to become the Hokage of the village at a very young age. Using his skills, he was single-handedly able to end the Third Great Ninja War, which goes to show how impressive his abilities were. Despite all that, Minato's skills are far inferior to Madara Uchiha's and this was proven multiple times during the war. Minato fought to fight against 10-Tails Obito, therefore beating Madara Uchiha is certainly not possible for him.
The Quintessential Quintuplets (Japanese:, Hepburn: Go-Tōbun no Hanayome, lit. Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020, with its chapters collected into fourteen tankōbon volumes. The series follows the daily life of a high school student Futaro Uesugi, who is hired as a private tutor for a group of identical quintuplets: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki Nakano. At the very beginning of the story, it is shown that the events are being told in a flashback, while an adult Futaro prepares to marry one of the Nakano Quintuplets whose identity is only revealed near the end of the series. The series is published in English by Kodansha USA under the Kodansha Comics imprint. The anime series is licensed in North America under a Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership. An anime television series adaptation produced by Tezuka Productions aired from January to March 2019 on TBS and other channels. The series is a commercial success, being the 5th best-selling manga in 2019, and the 3rd best-selling manga in the first half of 2020 in Japan. In 2019, the manga won the award for the shnen category at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards. High school student Futaro Uesugi is an academically gifted student that leads a difficult life-his mother has died, he has no friends, and on top of all that, his father has incurred a large amount of debt. An opportunity presents itself when the rich Nakano family transfers to his school.
Futaro is promptly hired as a highly paid tutor. However, much to Futaro's dismay, he discovers that his five charges-identical quintuplet sisters of varied personalities-have no interest in studying at all and have abysmal grades. Some of the quintuplets are against having Futaro, whom they view as a stranger, in their apartment, but Futaro's diligent tenacity gradually convinces those girls to accept him and to improve their grades. Throughout the series, Futaro develops special relationships with each of the quintuplets. Through a flashforward, it is revealed that he eventually marries one of them, but her true identity is only revealed near the end of the series. The idea of "a group of quintuplets falling in love with the same person" existed even before the serialization of Haruba's previous work, Karma of Purgatory (2014-2015), but was very simple at that time. The idea was denied by his editor-in-charge. A year after, after the end of Karma of Purgatory, he discussed with his editor-in-charge what to serialize next.
Among the few ideas being come up with, the "quintuplets" idea was included again, which was accepted by the editor this time. After failures in two to three serialization committees, finally, it was decided to have a one-shot manga published first. The one-shot received positive reviews and therefore went on to serialization. It was decided the protagonist should be quintuplets at the very beginning. When later the idea of quadruplets and sextuplets was raised, it was rejected very quickly, around 30 seconds. Haruba said it might be a reference to Super Sentai when he came up with this idea. Similar to Super Sentai, Ichika (yellow), Nino (black), Miku (blue), Yotsuba (green), and Itsuki (red) are all represented by a color. The design of the quintuplets started from his favorite existing female characters from "some slice-of-life works only with girls", around 15 to 20 of them. The idea of adding numbers in their names was after the design was almost confirmed.
